Was just looking at my account and there is a new service agreement dated yesterday. The term is extended another year and I have had no communication from Telus regarding making this change. Seems extremely shady business practice.

This was referred to as the Rogers (as in Rogers/Shaw) method many years ago. You do something and if the customer does not complain about it then it is deemed to have been accepted. The reasonable time period was 30 days. New World order.
So, if you don't like it say so, well within 30 days and then you have a legal complaint. Document your attempts to reverse this in case you have to go to outside sources to remedy.

I've cancelled all services with Telus. Took almost three hours on the phone. I never agreed to a two year extension at anytime. I've filed a complaint with the crts to get my "penalties" waived but I'm not holding my breath. Scummy business practice as far as I'm concerned. How do you enter into a contract with no consent.
