Modem to Router Connection

Modem LAN 1 and Router WAN is correct. Make sure your router is not sharing the same 192.168.1.x subnet. I had mine set to 192.168.10.x and I could still access 192.168.1.254 fine after that.

If I changed my Router IP address to 192.168.0.xx but I still can't access 192.168.1.254
- xray7 years agoHeroGo to your Router page and look for the Internet (WAN) IP address it was assigned. Is it 192.168.1.xx or is it some other subnet?

I've been trying to find that but I don't see it. I'm using TP Link, and under "Network" it only shows Internet, LAN, IPTV, DHCP Server, DDNS and Advanced Routing - No WAN anywhere
