There are a number of things that could cause no dialtone on a landline. A couple of which can be related to equipment within your home, and a number of additional things outside the home.
Have you contacted Telus about the loss of dialtone yet? It's usually recommended to call them as a lot of cases need a repair tech to resolve the issue, if it isn't one of your phones possibly causing it.
