Today, I just called loyalty team to renew my Internet plan.
I even confirmed at the end of the conversation about the price.
That's $70. However, I check it in the agreement.pdf document on My Telus. The price is $73.75.
There are 2 discounts that look very weird like below:
• 24 MO - Internet Loyalty Credit - $30 incl tax* - effective 07/08/2024 to 07/07/2026 -$26.78
• Loyalty Credit - 24 month - $5 incl tax* - effective 07/08/2024 to 07/07/2026 -$4.47
Total Monthly Promotional Price (when all promotions effective) $73.75
Why?
In the text it say -$30 but it only promotion -$26.78.
and -$5 in text becomes -$4.47.
I did check my previous agreement to see (below is old contract information)
• Mobile & Home Fiber Promotion - $10 Off Internet for 24 Months - effective 07/21/2022 to
07/20/2024 -$10.00
• $15 Off Internet For 24 Months - effective 07/21/2022 to 07/20/2024 -$15.00
With the previous one, if it say $15 Off, it will -$15.
Don't tell me that I have to call again, wait 30mins for my turn then checking my account again and discuss the issue. And then, I will lose more than 1 hour again. 😓

No surprise there with the prices you got on the agreement .pdf. The agreement means absolutely nothing. I’ve been having this exact issue since I renewed 6 months ago and have to call them on every single bill. Call them and they fix it and give me x$ for Internet, x$ for Telus TV on the next bill and guaranteed 100% and I ask 3 times are you sure? Next bill comes different pricing again.
