I don't believe this exists in connect app as of now, but it would be nice to have a quarantine feature. Any new device connecting to the network being unable to access any data over the Wi-Fi until it is approved in the app by the client would really improve security. Shouldn't even be that hard to implement. Just have any new device Automatically paused if it doesnt connect using WPS maybe? Would love to see this feature implemented in some fashion.

Hey @Porkchop1 - I appreciate the idea and we did have that feature with our TELUS Connect app but I am not sure if it's still supported. Thanks for the idea!

This feature would greatly improve security especially for kids accessing the wifi when they are not supposed to be and they are creating different ways to connect by just changing ip address or the setting where the MAC address continues to change! That’s address changing is great for security but when it changes then as parents we are having to frequently monitor the network and keep adding the “new device” to a profile so it follows the same safety protocols and schedules as is applicable for that device. 12yo’s are sneaky and ingenious for skirting the rules!
