Wanting to setup a VPN server at home for remote access to my home network while aboard.
I know some ISPs do not allow this - will Telus allow for incoming Wireguard or OpenVPN connections?
Solved! Go to Solution.

I have a separate Wireguard VPN server running just fine on my system here, Its run consistently for a couple of years without any problems at all..

Telus does not block running a VPN server, I have IPSec, L2TP, and OpenVPN all running fine. For PPTP, you will need to forward protocol 47 (GRE) which the Telus router may be incapable of doing, I would definitely suggest using your own router for this.
