Loss of audio while lips keep moving!
Audio skips were previously reported and fixed. They are back again.
A two second count of lips moving and no sound. This occurs live and recorded, on demand, Prime & Paramount. So basically on any and all channels or subscriptions. It is like the bleeps of language of delayed broadcasts.
Please fix this annoyance.
This has been happening to me for months and I finally got tech support on the phone. After a TON of trouble shooting that I had already done on my own, they were able to log in remotely and found that the optic terminal coming into the house was alarming several times a day and rebooting itself causing the audio dropouts for up to 5 seconds randomly and intermittently throughout the day. The Optic terminal is a white Nokia box. Tekus is coming on Easter Monday to replace it.

Settings --> Television -->
Are you asking that this be fixed by the TV settings? The TV just parrots what it is given via HDMI

The settings above were for your Optik TV box, were you able to give them a try? And failing that, did you try connecting the box directly to your router via LAN cable to see if the issue persists?

I had Lan connected and had the problem. I relocated TV 10 feet, room layout, from WIFI and decided not to run visible extra wires. Surely, 10 feet from WIFI should not cause this problem.
Did I mention it was once fixed. I will also mention I have not noticed bleeps for a week or so.
Telus support tries but these problems elude permanent fixes as tech support does not seem to know what causes them, and then guesses on what to trial and error to repair.

Thank you for your reply using words I have posted over the past two years as solutions to related voice problems. I had also said that Telus techs appear to leap frog each other with different software repairs that they make on older version that was already updated to fix another problem. Individual solutions are not it appears being grouped in a software update.
THIS is one such case where the sound problem was already fixed earlier this year.
I should not have to go through the various fixes that you suggest as a trial & error approach. My tuner is hardwired, not WIFI. I do not have surround turned on since discovering this issue causing sound problems on a few channels/streaming.
Mid sentence dropped audio that is random is like when swear words a bleeped. The video continues.

There are a few things to try:
- Settings --> Television --> Audio --> Audio Output, and changing from 'Surround Sound' to 'Stereo' if you see the former.
- Settings --> Television --> Screen Resolution, and switching from 4K to 1080p. Saving it, and then going back and switching back up to 4K. This forces the box to restart its internal video/audio sync clock.
- Flushing the app cache by going go Settings (the cog icon) --> Apps --> TELUS TV+ --> Clear Cache.
Another option is to test using ethernet to see if it's a Wi-Fi issue.
