Any suggestions for After Market Modem for my 500 Mbps Optik conection?

Hello,

I am new to this forum and I am not 100% sure if I poked around well to find an answer to my challenge.

I have an Arcadyn Modem ( White ) which works great, however the user interface is very poor and I cannot manage any advanced network settings. Simple options such as switching off DHCP option does not exist, or I can only have a  /8 network. instead of a  /16 network.

Hence I am considering an option to install an after market modem for my home!

Any help on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Please and Thank you!

If you don’t have Optik TV, you can use any router you wish. If you do have Optik, you could bridge port 1 on the Arcadyan router, leaving Optik on it, and the rest of your network on a router of your choosing.

Do you have a large enough network to need /16 routing?
