Bridge mode on NH20A

Before I nbegin just know that I have read through the existing articles, but none seem to fit my situation, are out of date, or incomplete.

When I try to place my NAH in Bridge mode (so that I can use my own Router/DHCP/DNS) with OPNSense), although I have tride severtal options, each has failed, calling TELUS to reset my WAN connection seem to be useless (they give me a Private IP to use on the WAN, or tell me they have no more IP Addresses, even though clearly a Public IP is needed via DHCP for Internet service to work.

So my questions are:

1. Will enabling Network > LAN > Bridge even work anymore in June 2025 with TELUS?

2. If it will, what settings should I use LAN PORT FULL, LAN 1, or LAN 10G

3. If LAN 1 I'm assuming I use Port 1 correct?

4. If FULL I'm assuming I use Port 1 as well, correct?

5. Can I use my own routers WAN MAC or should I spoof the NAH WAN MAC?

I have tried FULL, LAN1, and 10G with no success so far, has anyone else got this to work recently and if so how did you do it?  Did you need to contact TELUS, and if so at what number (their standard support number is useless)

Thank you in advance, I would really apprecaite the latest answers to this, one last question ,can I re-use the TELUS boost access points or will I have to buy my own wifi acess points?

I got it to work a couple days ago (Thursday). Was in a weird spot under a drop down menu in LAN. I also have a 10Gbps 5 port switch in between by pfSense box and the NAH. It's not directly connected. I chose the 10G option

So just to be clear, yo uenbale Bridge Mode LAN 10G on the 10G port?  And what MAC did you use on your own router, the WAN MAC from the NAH or your own WAN MAC?

You want to use a personal router brands like asus, tplink, netgear and other brands and manufacturer routers to bridge between your peronal router and your telus modem.

You want to use port 1 bridge or port 10G bridge.

I have attatched a few pictures of the settings of the bridge mode for Telus netowk access hub :

I will attatch a few pictures for this setting fromScreenshot 2025-06-25 151347.pngScreenshot 2025-06-25 151429.pngScreenshot 2025-06-25 151554.png

The pictures you attached, they do not look familiar to me in my NH20A GUI, are these from a different TELUS device?

They NH20 A GUI should be similar for residential telus customers for the settings.

A possibility , the NH20A ,each  telus modem has different firmware updates or software versions.

can you show the setting or a picture  for the bridge modem setting of your NH20A gui?

You bet, it looks like this, these are the only options:
