Hello,
I was literally scammed by a Telus employee who called me in October 2024 about an offer for a FREE Telus Home Security system. The employee assured me this is an offer to Koodo customer...
I have similar experience where a rep called me and said that I can have Home Security added to my account for same price I was paying for other services. I even asked if there was catch and lady insisted that there is no catch. To my surprise I see a separate bill for home security which includes installation of $300 which is separate from my regular services. All the guy did was plugin a camera in my garage to an outlet and they gave me 2 smart plugs. I can purchase these items cheaper on Amazon. Been trying to get a hold of someone at Telus for 3 days without any luck. Do not get suckered into signing up for Home Security plan.
