Security Panel Door Open Announcements

My SmartHomeSecurity panel recently (July 2025) stopped announcing door and window openings.  I have made no configuration changes. Who dunnit? How do I get the announcements back?

    Hi there, thanks for reaching out, and sorry to hear your panel has gone quiet.

    The voice chimes/announcements can sometimes get disabled after a firmware update or power interruption. To restore them, please try the following steps:

    1. On your SmartHome panel, go to: Settings → Advanced Settings → enter your Master Code
    2. Tap Sounds
    3. Make sure Voice and Chime is toggled ON for both Doors/Windows
    4. Tap Save

      Thanks.  It took a while to find settings.  The issue was that the volume was set to zero for several categories.
