Re: Telus activated security service without consent, now $8K in collection!!!!

Telus has activated a home security service without my consent and knowledge, which led to over $10,000 debt (for a service I never used and a system that was never installed) being sent to collections!!

 

I have tried calling so many times, and writing complaints on this forum. And every time I was told they would investigate and reach out to me. But I have waited for months and my credit score has plummeted so much, and still no one has called/emailed me!

 

Please be aware of Telus and do NOT do business with them. They have no business ethics nor morality.... 

This incidence gave me no choice but to take legal action, and to go public with news media so more Canadian citizens are aware of Telus' business practice. What a shame..

      I explicitly told you guys SO MANY TIMES hat the phone number you had on file is NOT my phone number. Your staff put my family member's phone number on file so that they can create a fake profile to activate the account without my knowledge and consent. This says something about your back office and the ability to handle complaints/dispute. 

      AGAIN, this is not my problem. And please look into this and CALL ME AT MY OWN NUMBER.
