Third Party Installation - Access Issues
I ordered Home Services a few months ago . I registered with an Apple Watch promo . The TELUS third party installer , I had not received the equipment via mail yet , nor my apple watch and was unsure what would happen . Upon arrival , the tech asked for my keys and fob , which I provided , assuming he needed to go to the Phone Room located somewhere in the building. He left and after a half hour , I asked my partner to go find him . The tech was outside , on the phone . My partner retrieved the keys and told the tech to buzz when he was ready . A few days later , I received a text from Telus asking to re-scheuele . I did , and received a call from "HQ Toronto" . I explained the situation to the agent , who offered to send me a optik box with Netflix installed and pre-paid with Telus channels . I agreed , and assumed the watch would be included . On the day of installation , the new tech showed up and while he was downstairs , he called me asking me my account number , as he could not pull up the account . I gave it to him , then he stated "the account did not exist , and he needed to do a new application and he would install once done . He did , and proceeded to my apartment . He brought a Telus box with the optik and the modems , however there was also another box downstairs at the mailboxes , with my unit on the address . He installed the fibre optic internet , put the modems on the wall , and when he was leaving , he sent me a screenshot with the "telus information" containing an ecid and another random portal from Insight - ? He said yes but the numbers would not work for telus access. I later was able to register with my original email , but a few weeks later was signed out of my gmail and many other accounts , including my icloud . I am unsure if this is related to the guy , but I did not receive my watch and my internet has been suspended due to non-payment . I cant pay because I cant sign in , or reset my password or email. I try to call telus but its so coml;icated to get a hold of account services. I have no internet at my house
