Billing Issues

Last month I called in to order a new door sensor for my security system. I was told that our 9 month old system was out of date???? It had to be updated and was told the $200 fee for installation would be waived and so would the door sensor.

She also said she'd combine our security account with our TV/internet bill. Great I said. The preauthorized payment was set up but not working. She said she'd fix that too. Great I said - 2.5 hours on the phone but it was resolved. 

She also gave me July's service for security for free and reduced my monthly fee for 24 months. Awesome.

Today my bill arrives. I am charged for installation, the door sensor and thankfully the PAP didn't work (says I'm overdue) even though it shows as being set up as they have overcharged me.

AND they charged me $1134 for a cancellation fee for the security system which I did not cancel.

So where am I now? On hold AGAIN FOR OVER AN HOUR to talk to someone and you can bet IF I get to speak with someone it will be ANOTHER 2-3 hours to get it resolved!!

  • Hey laperkes​! Looks like there's been quite a mix-up with your billing from the installation charges to that unexpected cancellation fee. Let's get this straightened out for you. Can you send us a PM our way and we'll take a look at what's going on.
