I turned on my Sony TV today and I received the following flashing warning: Your television cannot support HDCP video over your high definition connection (H1001) This has happened a couple of time...
I had the same issue. A new cable didn't fix it.
I turned off HDMI-CEC on both the Telus PVR and the TV. This seems to have fixed it.
