Why is Smart Steering enabled by itself?

My 5g and 2.4g disappeared in available networks and I disabled smart steering by looking at this forum. I wonder why does smart steering status change? Could someone tell me the cause?

SmartSteering is the default mode. If you'd like to discuss the option of turning it off, you can always speak with our team.
