Unknown Credit Adjustors Bill Long After Canceling Account

I had an account with Telus Internet and transfered it over to a friend back in 2023. Now, just this year, I got notice that my apparently unpaid account had been transferred over to credit adjustors and officially have a hit on my credit record. Finding a way to contact Telus to get more information has been a nightmare since I no longer have access to this account.
