Unable to Manage Internet Plan

When I go to my telus page and click manage internet plan, it says

Sorry, something went wrong.
We’re unable to process your request at this time. 

Why does this happen?

  • I think my deal's through a promotional offer. At any rate, how can I possibly change my plan?

      Gotcha. That's possibly the culprit; the system won't have permissions to override or change those specialized rates. We'll send you a private message to discuss further.

    There are a few reasons this may be happening:

     

    - if you're on an older PureFibre or copper plan that is no longer offered, this can cause the error to pop up sometimes.

    - if you've got a recent bill that was just generated, a scheduled technician appointment, or a request to move your services in our system, this can be locked to prevent order conflicts

    - if the account is registered through an EPP (work registered) discount or promotional offer, this too can cause the error to occur.

     

    Are you in any of these three scenarios? If not, there's always the option of looking in to things in your profile. Let us know!
