Seems Telus is now a 5 business company and you cannot expect customer support to know all five business. cell phone, internet, home security, landline, cable tv each have it's issues specific. Seems Telus customer has no clue or not informed of the changes or they didn't read the memo as many are not telus customers using telus products but overseas customer support.TELUS appears to have replaced the old *60 call-screening code with Call Control. For TELUS Call Control, try dialing *99 from your TELUS Home Phone, then follow the prompts. You can also manage accepted and blocked numbers through My TELUS.
To get Call Control Premium on your TELUS Home Phone, you must call TELUS support directly at 1-800-400-2598.
Unlike the standard version, the Premium upgrade is handled over the phone. the old method of *60 can just block numbers without activating call control which ask calls to enter a number. *99 can still block last 3 numbers only but unsure if you need to activate call control. For $3 per month,
telus cannot even host a discussion forum that show incompetence. even a high school kid can host a discussion forum there is no editing of original post..that is how incompetent the employees are. if you take care of your customers the stock price takes care of itself .no wonder the stock price is like half of or same while US tech stocks are up. either managment could not care less. it's no because they are underpaid. ceo was making 10 million/year in his job. same with rogers. management don't seem to care about the customer service..you are selling a service. that all you selling.
