Outdoor Camera not triggering at all events of activity

We installed the camera +3 months ago and have started to realised many events (mostly in the evenings, but who really knows) are not getting recorded.

For the last 2 nights we've had a guest staying with us and both night when they've arrived, no recordings at all. However seems to start up again in the am?!!? How unreliable is this. What is the point of a system that works only somethings? What other events aren't getting captured.

    Hi there, thanks for reaching out. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow. 

     

    1. Check Motion Detection Settings. Ensure motion detection is turned on and sensitivity is set high enough to detect activity at night.
    2. Review Activity Zones. Make sure your driveway, walkway, or entry points are fully within the motion detection zone. If your guest entered from a side or shadowed area, the camera might not be monitoring that zone.
    3. Check Wi-Fi Signal Strength. Weak Wi-Fi can cause the camera to fail to upload or record.
    4. Reboot Your Camera/System. A reboot often resolves temporary software glitches.

      I have attempted all of these without any luck.

      Additional, some night events were previously getting captured and now nothing at all. I have made no other changes. If this is a internet issue, I would have no idea. Unless our Telus internet is 'weaker' at night??? Day clips continue to record regularly.
