Ogden outage...again Aug 3 2026

Well the copper thieves cut the cables again.

I sure wish they would get caught in the act.

Now its the old waiting game for repairs to be completed.

After contacting telus support and giving my family history, DNA profile ,first girlfriend, eye colour, etc etc  and waiting for the arranged call back time they never called back...again.

Same old.

The absolute worst customer service as usual.

Watching the news this morning I saw that Rogers had an outage due to cut communication lines.

Guess what, they were working on it 24 hours non stop to get er going ASAP.

telus on the other hand keeps bankers hours with the following update info.

"Service technicians are standing down for the evening and will resume activities in the morning."

I hope they get a good nights sleep.

No rush here.

Landline access for the elderly of Ogden/Lynnwood requiring Fire,Police,911etc can wait, after all being old means they are used to waiting.

I bet landline and 911 will be the last services restored again.

Too cheap to pay for overtime I guess.
