Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately I find it a hollow gesture.
Yesterday (June 13th) I received a call at 1pm from the "Escalation Manager" to enquire if the tech showed up on the 12th.
I told him "No call, no show"
He then assured me that someone would be there between 1 to 3pm again that day.
Again no call, no show.
I repeatedly told him that the service call was useless because the "copper lines had been cut".
He said they had to come out to inspect and to expedite the repair work.
Two days of waiting for someone to show up and probably just shrug their shoulders and go "the lines been cut". Duh.
What a huge waste of time.
Is this what an escalation manager is for?
To escalate my frustration with the telus support team.
Better give him a raise, cause boy does he excel at escalating my patience.
Not to mention by sheer coincidence I got my telus bill yesterday.
They raised my bill 15% without any explanation and dinged me a late fee for last months bill.
Even though I lost a weeks service due to slow repair / lack of interest in my previous outage issue.
Talk about gall.
Customer satisfaction must be appalling to say least.
I would be better off with 2 tin cans and a ball of string.

Update time -- Day 7 services still down.
So telus sent a tech to my place on July 16 to "repair" my line again.
Of course I told the tech it was copper theft and there was nothing he could do.
After spending almost an hour checking he came back and said the cable was cut.
Oh my god, does the left hand not know what the right hand is doing?
All these different department's with no ability to communicate.
I keep telling them to check the telus status site.
I don't think anybody knows how to do that.
Bare minimum info with near useless updates but it's all we have.
"Service efforts ongoing ....." is chalk full of info.
Instead of sending people to check my lines over and over ,how about using them to help repair the cut cable.
I wouldn't be surprised if they had 1 poor soul doing the repair working Mon to Fri 9 to 5 all by himself.
I'm sure telus is too cheap to pay for extra help/overtime to repair phone lines for Ogden/Lynnwood residents.
Yes I know telus is not at fault for the damages.
I never said it was and never tried to imply so.
Maybe cutting back on their feel good commercials and spending the time, money and energy on making customers "feel good" about service commitment is the way to go.
I'll tell yah right now telus does feel very friendly to me.
