land line
I was told seniors did not have to pay for their home phone land line. Is this true? If so, why are we paying when my husband turned 65 quite a few years ago. Please advise. Thanks.

Community Power UserThere is a program for seniors who have Telus Fibre internet to get a phone line for calling 911, but not for general calling. I understand the idea is there be an emergency phone available which anyone can use to call emergency services.
