Do not disturb
Can I set a do not disturb on my land line
I believe that this option was once available from Telus but I don't believe that is the case any longer. Some phones offer this feature on the actual phone (similar to cellphones).

- You could call forward to your voice mail if you have call forwarding and voice mail services. Many cordless phone systems have the DND function as well.
