Default Admin Password doesnt work

We have a telus white cylinder. I am trying to login the admin panel to do port forward for our games.  (192.168.1.254) but the default admin password on the bottom of the cylinder doesn't work. Ive even reset it to factory upsetting everyone in the house and still the admin password doesn't work.

What is the problem?

retired telus internet tech,  you might have a nah ( network access hub) as well which would have a different default password.  tech support once they have authenticed you can definitely help. they can tell if you're using default or custom password.  they don't have access to what the password is but they can do a reset

Hi! First, verify you're using the correct address:

    • Try both 192.168.1.254 and 192.168.1.1
    • Make sure you're typing http:// before the IP address

    For login credentials:

    • Username should be admin
    • The default password is NOT always the one printed on the modem
    • For TELUS B20T, try: telus as the password
    • If that doesn't work, try: admin as the password

If you still can't access after trying these:

    1. Perform another factory reset (since you've already done one):
      • Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds
      • Wait at least 5 minutes for complete reboot
      • Try logging in with admin / telus
