Brilliant Minds Mislabelled On Guide Last Two Mondays?
I have my PVR set to record Brilliant Minds on City TV every Monday night. There was no recording from October 27 so assumed that a new episode did not air that night. Noticed that it is not scheduled to be recorded tonight either. Looked at Telus Guide and see that City TV has two back-to-back "NEW* episodes of Hudson & Rex scheduled tonight. Wondering if one of those is supposed to be the new episode 7 of Brilliant Minds?
I checked On Demand and see that episode 6 of Brilliant Minds did in fact air on October 27 after all, but it was not recorded. Is this because City TV had it mislabeled as Hudson & Rex so the PVR did not pick it up?
Please correct this Guide error so that the PVR can record episodes.

That definitely could be the case. Our guide's metadata comes from a third party source and there are occasionally errors if the broadcasters have something listed incorrectly, etc. If you have that series set to record, it should still record subsequent episodes as normal.
Thank you for your reply. I did have the series set to record but it did not record the episode last week or last night because the show name was different on the guide. I hope it is solved for next week. The public would not know the episodes are indeed airing, but hidden under a different show name on the guide. I finally noticed it yesterday when two back-to-back "NEW* episodes of Hudson & Rex were on the guide. I figured that was weird. Sure enough, one of them was a new Brilliant Minds episode.
Viewership statistics for these two "hidden" episodes will be down I guess.
