Are Telus Boost extenders capped?

I don't believe there are caps on the boost devices. It sounds to me that the issue is related to your second boost that is not wired.
Wi-fi connected devices are supposed to switch to the 'best' signal while moving around but I've found on more than a few occasions our iPhones don't always do this. Often toggling wi-fi off and on on the device remedies this issue.
