Hi you are right, I’m a total idiot. It was a complete scam. They had me go on my account and order a phone. When the phone arrived the data storage was wrong, so. They asked me to send it back and provided a label. I sent it, and now they have a new phone! Then they wanted me to re-order so they asked for access to my computer - i gave it to them. They ordered another phone, and then someone accessed my computer and tried to send money from my credit card to someone. Luckily i caught that transaction and cancelled it. But now my credit card is compromised, my bank is worried they may have accessed personal info while in my computer. I’m having my computer cleaned, and will have to change my credit card, and sign up for a program that will watch my credit cards for me. Really I’m usually so careful - don’t know how this guy got past my guard.
