Not receiving all calls/SMS
Google Pixel 9 Pro on Telus, switched from Koodo just over a year ago. When I first got the new phone I had issues with calls not consistently coming through. Out of 10 calls MAYBE 3 would come through, the rest would either go straight to voice mail or would just sound blank (dead) at the caller's end. After hours of Googling I tried turning off my 5G network and running on LTE instead. That worked for me... until the last few days.
Again, I'm not consistently getting phone calls. My call log doesn't show any missed calls. I only know someone has called if they leave a voicemail, because I'll get a notification for it. But my phone doesn't ring, and no missed call on the log.
Additionally, I'm now not receiving any SMS messages from my banks so I can log in. Up until two days ago I was getting all calls and all text messages.
In order to get a text from my bank I have to restart my phone. Then ALL the attempts come through at once upon restart.
PLEASE! I need a phone that actually WORKS! Google is FULL of complaints exactly like mine with NO SOLUTION.
No, my phone isn't silent, my spam filter on/off doesn't make a difference, changing networks doesn't make a difference, these numbers aren't blocked... I don't want to hear all the "obvious" solutions.
I have a year to go in my contract but if I'm not getting consistent service then I would say my contract is already breached and I think I want out now. This is ridiculous.
Does anyone - ANYONE - have a viable solution to this issue?

To add: the only thing I've found others say the issue might be is an incomplete porting issue from one provider to the next (even if they piggyback networks). Most of the people I've seen with the same issue switched from one provider to another and ported their existing phone number. I switched from Koodo to Telus over a year ago so I doubt that's the issue but is it possible the porting has been incomplete all this time?
