Hi, first of . My internet company who I being too. Which you did not need a credit check got sold a few years ago then it was taken over by Koodo and now it seems Telus .I pay my bill before the due date always love my internet to do things right . Who doesn’t .
My issue was I belong to Chatr and have no monthly bill pretty cheap and I bought a iPhone through Best Buy unlocked around $200. Now I got a call from a Telus representative saying if I had a mobile plan and I said yes . This person was legit even sent me emails and the contract but of course they don’t have my debit/ credit card . They offered me $50 for 5G Canada and US but I never travel and really only need Canada and my data never go over only use it to listen to music and my banking and looking stuff for internet only when I am out and that is not often and I have wifi at home and internet good savings.
They wanted to put me on a prepaid plan but I said I like my plan but I have iPhone XR would like to get a better phone they offered me a iPhone 14 for $7 a month and waived the $80 connection fee but I would like something newer iPhone 16 e well Thats was $19.00 a month . With the iPhone 14 I did not have funds on my card to get it on the phone pay the taxes which he said $25 and then he said go to Telus kiosk and you can pay it there . Well went to a kiosk nope they cannot do it . And the first representative was sending me 2 SIM cards . I do not need two lines only one .
I ended up calling Telus that is like contacting the prime minister . Customer service sucks but anyway . I got a nice Indian gentlemen to help me . But because I did not have the SIM cards he could not cancel one because of me maybe getting a phone it has to go with that SIM card even though I will be importing my number from chatr . Well he said he would call today he did but no SIM cards have been delivered yet and I am not paying for those SIM cards no way .

Are you sure you were talking to a real Telus agent? An iPhone 14 for $7 is so far below the cost of the device is practically screams SCAM.

He sent me the contract and said the SIM cards were mailed and in my Telus account there shipped the SIM cards but I have not got them yet and one thing I did not give him my debit card or credit card so it was legit representative.
