Is this a scam?
Got called by someone claimed to be from Telus and offered me a new plan like $30 for 100 GB/month, unlimited talk/text, USA/Mexico roaming, and international calling. I got suspicious at this p...
Be aware that Telus has set up a sub-company offering such a plan. A cellular technician friend has set his family up on it and is so far very satisfied with the service. The rate is about half of a normal cell plan and includes the USA and Mexico. Coverage that is offered free fromm time to time by Telus and Virgin. I have a Virgin Plan that covers Canada/USA but it costs a lot more than what the new Telus subsidiary is charging. I am NOT saying the telephone solicitation you received is legitimate as I do not know how Telus is promoting their new company. But the basic offer is available .
