Cancel/opt out of a Shared/Family Plan
Asking for a friend. Friend is also a Telus mobility customer. If they are under a shared/family plan and they are not the main "account holder" can they still cancel their plan w/out the main acc...

Official Support TeamNo, the account holder needs to authorize the transfer of ownership to your friend. They can't cancel the line either, only the account holder can do that. https://www.telus.com/en/support/article/transfer-mobile-number-another-person
