With all do respect I really hope that Telus Marketing Reps are actually looking at these posts, I mean it would be pointless and very insulting that we go out of our way to make time and write these posts and them not even reading or acknowledging the concerns we have. I just thought that had to be said before I post what I'm about to post. So I have a comment/suggestion about what is offered in Telus Rewards. First is my comment, I've been a Telus customer for about 2.5 years and the Rewards have been the same, has not been updated, does Telus actually believe that all of there customers are gamers and vacationers. FYI some of us dont even play X-Box, Nintendo or playstation. Now my suggestion, it would be very convenient if Telus rewards had virtual gift cards, paypal or other types of e-cards added to the list

Telus does have a variety of gift cards. Many are virtual. More that are non-gaming related than those that are. AirBnB, Home Depot, Ultimate Dining, Esso, Hotels.com, Starbucks, The Keg, Banana Republic, Homesense / Winners / Marshalls, Tim's, Turtle Beach, Spotify, Skip the Dishes, Uber / Eats, and The Bay. There have been changes over the last 2+ years. Some new cards and some have been removed.
Telus does also have virtual Amazon gift cards and you can then use those on Amazon to buy a variety of other gift cards.

I am in Alberta and want to redeem Tim Hortons certificate from my rewards and USE IT at Tim Hortons
in Victoria BC. Have tried to ask Tim Hortons...but they only reply about their own rewards program. Called the Tim Hortons store in Victoria and was told he did NOT know if that was possible. Please answer

Hi katrina8 , When you redeem the TELUS Reward - Tim Hortons eGift Card you will be provided a unique code at the time of redemption. You should also find a copy in your email inbox.
When I go to the TELUS Rewards page, and select the Tim Hortons eGift Card option, I see the following instructions: "This is a digital gift card that can be used in the Tim Hortons mobile app. If you don't have the app, print your unique code link and bring into any Tim Hortons restaurant and present at time of payment." I would suggest using the app.- Open the Tim Hortons App.
- Profile icon (top right corner)
- Payment Methods
- Manage Tim Gift Card
- Transfer balance from another Tims Gift Card
- Enter the code you received from TELUS, and include the PIN.
- Continue
Now your redeemed balance is loaded on your app. Hope that helps! 🙂

Has anyone else been following the PS5 contest that ended Jan 31/22? For about 6 weeks after the contest was finished, it was still under the "Current Contest" section. You could still click on the contest, but the browser window would crash. Now, the contest has disappeared, with no winners displayed. I talked to 2 reps earlier this week, spent almost 2 hours chatting, and they gave me the same answer - "Winners will be contacted 4-6 weeks after the contest has been completed, and will be displayed under the "Winners" tab".
It turns out, a consumer cant actually reach out to the "Telus Rewards" team directly. No email, calls, nothing.
My theory is that they cancelled the contest due to lack of availability, but nobody will admit such a thing. I ran some numbers, and I spent 2 years worth of Rewards points for the contest. I just wanted some answers, but I think a little compensation is in order. They cant get away with last minute contest cancellations due to their lack of preparation.

I don't see the option to select to use rewards $50 credit to pay towards bill. Is it discontinued or not in the rewards catalog?

It's under the Telus Services category. I just used it a couple of days ago. Note that you can only redeem for Telus services credit once every 12 months.

Can you tell me how you were able to navigate to this category. I was just told by a service rep that this redeemption option is no longer available.

How long does it take for a redeemed item to be processed. I ordered 2 Amazon Gift cards 3 days ago and still not sent to my email????? This is my 1st redemption othe than applying as a credit/payment to my account.
- xrayHero
Waiting 3 or more days for shipping from a vendor during Black Friday/Cyber Monday week shouldn't surprise anyone. As for Amazon gift cards specifically, they come from Amazon and you can imagine how busy they were this week.

HI there,
Looking to redeem some rewards points and I was wondering if there are ever any better offers then 1 point for $1?
Thanks in advance!
- polecatAll-Star
tonyrage What you see is what you get. Telus Master Card only good telus stores takes 3 months to get to you .The pay to your account $ 25-50 can only be done once a year. At one time i think there was a $100 one. Read all the fine print all i do is on account $ 25 nothing else of interest to me.
- tonyrageFriendly Neighbour
Thanks very much for confirming. That is exactly what I wanted to hear.

I have enough points to redeem a gift card. I collected them for a very long time.
Why aren't there any of the gift cards available?
Nothing else useful..... - lavoratopNeighbourReward points

Does anyone know if there is an expiry date when redeeming reward points for on demand movies?
Thanks!
- tj4Neighbour
So just got a confirmation from Telus about redeeming my rewards points for 1 on demand movie. It appears that I have 60 days to use that redemption reward and if I had redeemed for a 5 movie pak, I would have 120 days to use that redemption. It is annoying that Telus does not post this important information on the page where you actually redeem your points for this reward. It seems it is "hidden" somewhere in the fine print....hmmmm!

Not to my knowledge. You can, of course redeem points for this purpose any time you wish.
