Picture Quality
Just got "upgraded" to the new digital TelusTV+ box. Why is the picture so bad? It's hard to watch sports when everything is so fuzzy and the frame rate seems slow.

From my understanding once fibre is available cable is not being offered as a plan to switch everyone over to fibre and decommission the copper.
- RosarioFriendly NeighbourThank you. That helps. Although I am in a catch 22 here because fibre is not available in my area. So, I think they’re doing what they can over internet but no fibre.

I have picture problems since I changed from Shaw to Telus. Picture is blurry on and off. This last time I spent 1 1/2 hour on the phone, plugging and unplugging cables, re-booting everything even doing a factory reset. Nothing solved. Waiting for another call from Telus. Also, TV loses internet connection constantly. It is annoying. Any solution Telus?

Hi Rosario - we're sorry that your image is blurry. You mentioned it is only some of the time. Since the TV runs off Internet, has your internet also been inconsistent?

Yesterday my tv picture was clear and today the picture is blurry. So blurry it’s hard to read the ticker content at bottom of the screen.
this is not a tv hardware issue rather this is a poor signal from Telus…
How can fiber optic tv be so blurry and has anyone switched back to Shaw?

Have you tried rebooting your equipment to see if that resolves the picture issue?

Does Telus offer TV via the old school cable box? Way more reliable

Can you try the suggestion posted in your other thread to see if it helps? Also, try re-seating your HDMI cables.
- nessFriendly NeighbourYes. I have done both. Looking through other people's posts I think this is a problem on Telus' end.
