Voicemail speed dial 1
My voicemail speed dial 1 is not working on my Android S24 phone.
When I press and hold "1" on my phone it shows Add voicemail number?
Then I click on Add number
On the next screen under service provider it is showing "My carrier"
When I click on this, I am unable to change anything.
Any idea how to change this?

Retired telus telephone tech not telus mobility. You don't press and hold on the number 1 it's just a tap. You can go into your phone settings to find out what is programmed and change it if necessary
I did try this before. When I go into Voicemail setting, I can only see "Service provider". When I click on that, it says "My carrier". I am unable to change this or add any other number.

Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like your voicemail number isn’t set up on your new device yet. You can set it manually by following these steps:
- Open the Phone app on your Samsung S24.
- Tap the three dots (menu) in the top right corner.
- Select Settings > Voicemail > Voicemail settings.
- Under Voicemail number, enter your TELUS voicemail access number (6475804001).
- Save the changes and then press and hold 1 again to test.
