Voice mail to text - no audio file along with text
For some reason, I don't receive an option to play the voicemail along with the text transcript. I have a Google Pixel 7 Pro. My wife on the same plan has an iPhone and hers works perfectly. Several calls to support and no resolution.
Searching Telus, I get erroneous/outdated suggestions i.e:
- You can modify voicemail to text when logged in under your account - no such option exists anywhere
- Instant voicemail option - no such thing exists either
This feature worked fine on Bell, so it's not a h/ware issue.
I also have an issue with voicemail notification permanently on, not sure if this is related. I've tried everything except wiping the phone to no avail.

- Check your phone’s notification settings to ensure notifications are enabled for voicemail.
Voicemail-to-Text Issue:
- Verify that the voicemail-to-text feature is active on your account. While this feature should work across all devices, certain settings or configurations might need adjustment.
Persistent Notifications:
- Call your voicemail to ensure there are no unheard messages. Once all messages are cleared, restart your phone to see if the notification disappears.
