Horrible plan
A close friend of mine had to go out of town due to a family emergency and they told me they have 3GB of data a month while I get 75GB

What kind of absurd plan is this?

- There are legacy plans that offer significantly less for a lot cheaper. As an example. I have a friend on Bell that still has a plan that only includes data and text in Ontario only. Your friend can always change their plan to something that gives them more, depending on their needs.
