Had a technician visit 2 weeks ago for home services and he sold me on a great sounding mobility plan, when i switched from Bell EPP. I asked explicitly if I could use my Apple Watch with this contract and if this counts towards a discount for my home services. Turns out now there is no way of using the plan with my Apple Watch, it doesn’t count towards a discount on the home service, only mentioned the $60 connection fee after already transferring the number, a rep on the phone told me that I could have signed up for an unlimited plan for less, in the end I’m basically now paying more for less and I’m screwed on the Apple Watch connection. However phone reps are not letting me out of the contract or let me change it. Good reminder to never let a rep or tech let you sell something you haven’t read the fine print on … 1 month in and already can’t wait to switch away from Telus. Anonymous, if you let techs sell stuff please make sure they actually know what their selling …2.6KViews0likes1CommentAsurion mobile phone insurance
It’s basically a scam. I have been trying to get my iPhone 17 screen repaired for weeks. It is impossible to reach a real person. The repair shop won’t do repairs during a sale, when they are understaffed, or don’t have a ticket from Asurion. Trying to reach someone at Asurion to get them to send the ticket to the shop (I filled out form online) is impossible. Clearly they hope I’ll abandon my claim. You are much better off getting Apple Care. At least they actually do the job and you can walk off the street. Also, Asurion claims repairs in 2 hours! If you actually manage to get the repair shop to accept your phone, it will take one day at a minimum. Exceptionally poor service! How much does Telus make on this “deal”?30Views0likes1CommentSolving an escalation
I spent 2.5 hours with Telus yesterday speaking to 3 different employees & waiting. Telus is not honoring the verbal offer that I was given by the first agent - they are redacting their statement and breaking the verbal contract that I entered with them when I agreed to proceed with the offer. I escalated the issue and requested a supervisors intervention, he agreed to look into the issue and call me back the following day at a time conducive to my work schedule. He called me back with no answer other than redacting the offer, I also requested a call back to cancel TV services as I already waited on hold to do it the day before and they were unable. I was told I would get a call this evening from a cancellation rep and I would hear back from him. No one contacted me. My experience with customer service has been horrendous. If this does not get rectified I intend on issuing a formal complaint.77Views0likes3CommentsMobility Offer Issue
I’m posting this to see whether others have had similar experiences and to highlight what feels like a clear bait and switch or, at best, serious internal incompetence. My TELUS services were up for renewal. Over several weeks, I received multiple calls from offshore representatives. While I respect offshore support teams. Later in November 2025 a call from Patrick He offered the following in writing, dated November 28, 2025: CAN–US–MEX Unlimited 100GB shareable 4 mobile lines at $30 per line iPhone 17s at $10 per phone Two TELUS/Bell fibre internet connections at $75 We agreed to proceed.Shortly after, the internet contract arrived and it was wrong. We requested corrections repeatedly. None came. Despite emails prompting us to “connect services,” we never received finalized contracts for mobile or internet. After requesting escalation, we were later told by another agent that the offer was “fraudulent” and that Patrick was a fraudster. Here’s where it gets absurd: someone else in my office accepted the same offer and received four Nubia Flip 2 phones (~$800 each) with TELUS SIM cards. If the offer was fraudulent, how did TELUS ship real hardware through their own systems? After two months, 50+ emails, and countless calls, another rep confirmed Patrick was a TELUS employee. The final response reframed the issue as if I were asking for a competitor price match—which I was not. I simply expect TELUS to honor a written offer made by their own representative. Has anyone else experienced written offers later denied, reps disowned, or deals reframed as “price matching” after the fact? I’m still open to resolving this reasonably—but honoring a written agreement should not be controversial.Thank you52Views0likes1CommentPossible Scam call + emails after ordering phone online?

After i hunt up on the second guy after getting paranoid again he left a voice message affirming it wasnt a scam after 4 callback attempts124Views0likes5CommentsPossible Scam
I foolishly called the number (1-844-368-7379 ) left in a voicemail from "Telus" regarding my recent internet order offering a discount on my phone line. I now realize it was probably a scam as I can't find this number anywhere on the Telus website. Can someone from Telus confirm that this is NOT (or is???) a Telus number?160Views0likes1CommentTelus sent me to collection agency without contacting me
I received a mail from General Credit Services Inc stated that they have been contracted as the authorized collection agency because I own $1919.58 to TELUS CORPORATION PAYROLL I do recognize that the account number shown on the mail is indeed the T-ID I was assigned but I have left Telus more than 2 years ago, and not a single word from Telus, all of sudden I was sent to collection for something I never heard of? I tried to contact Telus to find out what’s going on, but giving that all the number I can find is for customer service and I clearly don’t have any active account so nobody can tell me anything. The nice ladies I had been talking to both assumed this is a scam letter. But given that the T-ID was actually shown on the letter I’m hoping someone from Telus could help me with this please. At least tell me the reason for this not so small amount please. 😭 Thank you very much for your attention to this matter. Rae985Views0likes12CommentsHow to identify Telus service calls?
I'm worried: A couple of days ago I had several calls from people in India claiming they were from Telus. They knew my name, address, and account number. I thought "Ok, maybe they really are Telus account managers". But now I'm not so sure. If they really were official Telus accounts people, why don't they use their real names? Because when you hear somebody with a big Indian accent say their name is "Alex" or "Norman", aren't people going to think "Sure dude, those are common Indian names" and roll their eyes? That's what we're supposed to do when we get called by scammers, right, Telus? I did get another call back from somebody else who sounded like they were legit, and answered all my questions. BUT. It's been three days already, and I see one minor change to our TV/Internet package. The one important change I asked for has not been done, and we've received no conformation email from Telus. (Yes, I checked my spam folder.) Frankly, we're talking about finding a more responsive provider.101Views0likes1CommentPhone Return Issue
On October 1 got a call from telus offering to lower my senior mom mobile bill. Needless to say she ended up with the person shipping her a new phone. She received a return label and sent the phone back through purolator. Now she has a $140 month bill. (My senior mom can't afford this!) From $23 a month. I called telus on her behalf and they have not received the phone, so they won't do anything. Is there anyway to remove those charges from her account?161Views0likes5Comments800 deposit when not in contract when got the phones new customer
