My aunt is moving in with me and so she no longer needs her current Telus internet/account. However, she needs to keep her Telus email. Is she able to transfer her current Telus email to my Telus account, and have private access to it? OR will she have to pay the monthly fee to keep her current Telus email? Hi, My 70 year old Father's Optik account is compromised. I think this because there has been hundreds of dollars' worth of PPV and movie purchases since day one of him getting the new service. (May 2022) He is 70 years old, never rented a movie a day in his life with Shaw satellite service prior, but I talked him into upgrading when the service came into his area so he could have Interent with his iPad as well as TV. His bill is now over $3000.00. I called customer service in November to try and get to this bottom of this. I would have called sooner, however every time I logged into the Telus portal it showed 0 dollars, so i figured he was doing good keeping up on paying his bills. One day I didn't have my laptop so tried the app on my phone to my surprise and saw the big bill starting to mount. In November the customer support agent had to go to tech support to have a PIN put on his devices so that purchases could no longer be made without it. When I checked the email here in January, someone called in December 19th to tech support while I was out of the country. I called customer support to see A). if the pin stopped the purchases, they couldn't tell me. I tried to look myself but its hard to tell on the bills but I think they have continued, B) I asked what the support call was on the 19th was all about and they couldn't tell me but asked if I wanted tech support to find out. So I have a payment arrangement for yesterday but it's under "home services" and I don't have anything but mobile service; cell phone, tablet and watch. I've never had home service, I live in rural Sask, it's not even available where I am. So that's odd. Then there's the fact that when I ask the virtual chat assistant about payment arrangements, Im told the account owner or manager needs to sign in to do that. I've checked my account and I'm still the only one on it and Im set as owner, so what's going on there? Then Im wondering what the live chat teams hours of operation are, does anyone know? Whats happening to Telus? I've been with them for 15 years now and I cannot keep up with my bill in the last 14 months! My bills are upwards of $700/month due to playing catch-up and it just keeps getting worse. 3 months ago I put $600 on a $764 bill and withina who and a half, the new bill came out and I was back up to owing $632!!! How do I add a family member as a user on my account? I have 14 numbers on my account and I'm listed as the account owner/manager, but I'd like to add the other person as an account member so they can track their usage and see details about their plans. I recently started getting emails from a collections agency for an account that was closed back in 2020 which was 5 years ago. I have spoken a few times with customer support, the collections team, and the loyalty team at Telus and have been sent all over the place with no answers. The collections team originally stated that they would go through an approval process to credit the charge back since I was never given any indication that I had owed any money to Telus. No emails, no phone call, and I had opened a new home services account with them a year and a half after closing the original home services account but was never told a thing. Just this week I had spoke with the collections team again who said that the account was opened by a technical mistake and that they would put in the requests with the back office team to credit the amount back. The collections team agent then said I will have to speak with the loyalty team to get the credit the amount back so they forwarded my call to the loyalty team. What do I need to do to cancel my partner’s account? He passed away a few weeks ago and said that I won’t be able to cancel it until after he’s gone and I can bring a death certificate. They sent my outstanding balance to collections, effectively screwing my credit, less than one week after I suspended my services. The due date on my final bill, which was never actually sent to me by email OR snail mail, is September 24th. The current billing cycle is for a month that I didn't have any services through them. I've made multiple attempts to try and purchase a Stream+ Premium Subscription. When I reach the checkout I'm continually redirected to a page that says "Thanks for your interest ... this subscription is only available for Telus customers who have certain Telus services". To clarify, I have a Telus phone plan. I've contact customer support they confirmed I should be able to purchase the subscription, they advised me to complete an online ticket for subscription services detailing my issue. That was three weeks ago. I contacted customer support again, my account was deleted an recreated and still no luck. Closed my account in 2018 with 0 balance. Got a warning from a general credit Inc saying I owe 107 dollars and it was my second notice today. 7 years later.. Warned if I don't pay, they will report me to credit bureau. How dare telus do this and try to destroy my credit over their own mistake. Completely unacceptable. This is not the way to do business.
