Purefibre

Around February of this year, we got salesman and technicians saying they are going to be installing fiber in our area, we saw trucks working on it around March to April, but past that we've gotten no updates or seen any progress. Looked at the internet plans for our area and it's still the same one we currently have, but when going to build a plan it says that fiber is available in the area but might not be at our location and to contact ACES(?) to submit a ticket. What is ACES and what is their contact info?18Views0likes1CommentSimple Honest Answer
Are the Telus Customer’s in Douglas Glen, Calgary ever going to get Fibre Service? I keep asking the question of any Telus Staff I see, in person or talk to on the phone, the answer is always,” Another year or so”, well it has been over 5 years and still no 3G Fibre. When can we expect Shovels in the Ground!!!!21Views0likes2Commentsit seems like Im surrounded by purefibre service but it's still unavailable in my area?
Any chance anyone might know when Sandstone might be getting purefibre service deployed? It seems all the other communities around sandstone has been upgraded and yet after 3 years are of waiting it is still unavailable in sandstone! The only reason Telus is missing out on a rather large profitable customer base(me) is because can't get fibre here :-(. TELUS WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO CONNECT SANDSTONE (after stating 2022. AN OFFICIAL ANSWER WOULD NEVER NICE!!173Views0likes10CommentsCan't login to Telus account on optik tv box
Hi, I set up a new service recently and I haven't been unable to login to my account using my email and password. I also cannot login to my TV either (using optik tv android box). I have logged in using the email a link method without any issues. I then reset my password and tried logging back in with my email and password but it doesn't work. Any idea what is going on? I haven't even able to access my tv services or telustvplus. I get the following error: Sorry, an error has occurred. Please try again later. I know the password is right because when I have reset the password (after logging into mytelus account using the email link) it says you cannot use the same password as last time.47Views0likes1CommentWhy is the availability check giving incorrect information
I was looking to subscribe to multiple services: fibre internet and TV. The availability check on the website says both are available in my area. However, each time I try to submit an order, I am told by the service rep that only internet is available. I can only assume that the sales and marketing team are providing unclear information so they can attempt to sell people on internet-only.33Views0likes0CommentsDropping packets with my new Fibre upgrade
Hello, Since upgrading my connection to Fibre, I've been experiencing what I believe to be intermittent but severe packet loss, which is making everything from online gaming to work tasks regularly impossible. This seems to be a serious issue, but I've contacted several telus phone agents and because I'm maintaining a good overall network speed, they have not been interested in investigating it futher (or don't beleive me? Not sure). I've seen several other posts about this packet loss issue over the last year or so on the forum, and would love some additional support to either verify or move past this as my major issue. Thanks! Quick packet test logs below. Hi all, Is it possible to set the Telus Wi-Fi 7 booster (B30A) to bridge/AP mode? I already set the NH20A to bridge mode, plugged my Unifi router to it and my network is routed by the Unifi device. However, when I connect the booster to Unifi, the booster is providing its own IPs to wired and wireless clients. And in settings menu it literally says Operating Mode: Router. How do I set the booster to bridge/AP mode? Thanks!222Views0likes6CommentsWi-Fi 7 Booster as a regular AP
Hi all, I got 3 gbps service installed today and received a Wi-Fi 7 booster as well. I set the NH20A to bridge mode on the 10 gbps port and my Unifi router is acting as the router, which is nice. However, the remaining ports on the NH20A are not giving away Unifi's IP address, still generating 192.168.0.0 addresses. Is this normal? Is there any way to make these ports to work as a regular switch? I connected the Wi-Fi 7 booster to my network. It's receiving an IP address from Unifi but it's not accessible on that address. When I connect to the booster's AP, it's giving out 192.168.0.0 IP address. Is there a way to make it work as a regular AP and let the Unifi router provide IP addresses to clients? Thanks all!126Views0likes1Comment
