I already have an Amazon account and optik tv

with 11 theme packs.

The question is:

•     If I access Amazon Video on a Telus 21T box will the data be added to the internet data allotment or is it included in the tv package. EG no extra charge.

Vancouver – Today, TELUS announced that Optik TV customers in B.C. and Alberta with four or more theme packs now have the flexibility to choose Amazon Prime as a benefit in their Optik TV package, courtesy of TELUS.

    If you have an existing Amazon Prime account you will not be able to activate your subscription to Amazon Prime through TELUS; however, you can enjoy the Amazon Prime Video App on the Optik TV digital box.

Great question! When you access Amazon Prime Video on your TELUS Optik TV 21T box, the data usage is not included in your TV package. It will count towards your internet data allotment, as the streaming service is delivered over the internet.
