Why would Telus send a insecure link in a message, since as far as most people would expect Telus is suppose to secure their on-line presence. The quotes message is below. You with notice that the http:// is not https://

It's not an insecure link, traffic to http sites is just not encrypted. It doesn't mean it's dangerous to visit a page without any user input fields. Sure, don't input banking info or passwords into a non https page, but a link to some internet tips to read and try at home is fairly innocuous.

As mentioned it's really only an issue if you are entereing information on the page.
