Panel doing a beeping countdown when Arming Stay

Just now when I went to arm my system for the night, using Arm Stay, the panel started doing a 60 second count down. Usually it only does that countdown when Arm Away.   I haven't changed anything ...

    I eventually figured out that you can select the "Silent Arming" option to eliminate the audible countdown. This was not required for Arm Stay until about a week ago.

    How do we stop the keypad arming beep, it never use to do it and it's super annoying when someone comes in late. Is there a way to set it as silent like it use to be without doing it individually every time?

    I am having the same issue.  Since the last system update my system has an audible countdown when "Arm Stay" is activated.

    I called Telus Home Security and the agent told me that the last update had a bug and this cannot be resolved.

    This is very annoying.  Has anyone had this issue resolved?

I complained about this in a new post and was able to get this resolved:

A technician was able to disable a "delayed arming" setting for arm stay, which has caused the system to arm immediately without an exit countdown. Voila, no more noise from the panel when I arm stay.
