Streaming Optik tv from iPad min 6

I have Optik tv on my iPad mini 6 

I connect an av adapter to my iPad mini 6 then hdmi cable to my tv 

trying to stream Optik tv on my iPad mini 6 to tv 

is it possible to do this 

get error message - screen recording playback is not available when screen recording is on (screen recording is turned off on iPad mini6)

Many copyright holders prevent streaming from mobile devices to TV. The Optik app does this as well. You are also prevented from streaming from iPad through the Apple TV as well, and must use the Apple TV app for Optik.

You should be able to display a laptop screen on the TV.

i guess I will just have to get used to Optik tv on my apad mini 6 since I cannot stream it to a tv

I don't have this feature to test but many newer TV's support Apple Airplay. Might be worth trying if you have that ability.

streaming videos work fine but it’s the Optik tv app that blocks me when trying to stream live tv
