What do you guys think of it and would you want Telus to offer the same?

Do you really want the company deciding how much to charge for transiting different bytes, or would you rather the goal of Net Neutrality, where all bytes are transited at equal cost?

Be careful what you wish for.

No wishing, just curious of what TELUS users think. I'm all for net neutrality, cheaper bits overall is better than a percentage of free bits.

In Canada? Don't get your hopes up, especially with video.

Thoughts...

  • it's 480 resolution.... not 1080, nor 4K
  • US$70 a month?  Would that be $95 plus taxes for Canadian's?  Hmm... Netflix for $110 a month?
  • looking at the fine print at the bottom?  Does that say 6gb full speed, but throttled to 2G once you hit that limit?  Is 2G enough to run 480 resolution?  Are you a big fan of 2G?

  • Canadians live near the US border.... I guess you can hop across the border for your "Bingeing"
  • With Telus Direct locations.... you can Binge On at full speed, full resolution, with no addition charge.  Thanks Telus.
