I just purchased the WD 8 TB My Cloud drive. It supports sending SMS, but in order to set it up, I have to provide a specifically formatted URL. The setup page says:
"The format of this URL is provided by the SMS service provider, and the URL must include the following parameters: username, password, destination phone, and message content. Using Clickatell as an example, a possible URL is: https://api.clickatell.com/http/sendmsg?user=TestUser&password=TestPassword&api_id=3148203&to=886123..."
Is it possible to send SMS through a URL?
I've seen the send-a-message format: email@example.com, and NAS that send emails, but this one is new to me. It might require your own SMS gateway ☹️
