Overcharged bill - charged twice

So I recieved my Telus bill, and it was an outstanding 320 dollars?! I knew this couldnt be possible and checked to see why! The bill stated that I had 209 unpaid dollars from my last bill, which I HAD PAID and I have the receipt for, I have been charged a faulty amount, TWICE now and it was added to my new bill!! I have no idea what to do and who to contact to get this resolved, and I find it weird that they could charge me this much, when I paid my last two bills for both January and February, with receipts from telus itself.

Billing issues can be frustrating, absolutely. Your best bet is to call in. They should be able to fix the problem pretty quick I imagine. If you do have the receipts (and or bank / card statements depending on method of payment used) then those will be good resources to have in case a problem appears.

If there is account number information on the receipts, make sure it corresponds to your account number, and that your payments weren’t applied to a different account!
