If you are in your home zone, your regular minute charge. If you are outside your home zone, the usual long distance rates you would pay if receiving a call from someone in your home town.

if you are within your local calling area, it only uses your local mins ( depends on what your plan provides)

if you are outside your local calling are, it will charge you long distance rate which is .50c/min.

*note: if you dont hava any available local mins left on your phone plan, tand you get a long distance call when you are outside you local calling area then, your charge is = .50c/min for local + .50c/min for LD= in short $1/min
