Recently there are lots of people selling their BNIB Pixel 8 in marketplace, most of them are from Telus, if it is a 'bring it back' phone, what will happen if the person stop paying. Is there anyway to avoid.

In these cases, the phone's original owner would have had to pay the Bring it Back amount, however if something happens and they don't there simply isn't much we could do about it. As with anything else, if you've got any doubts...don't buy it.

If you are going to purchase a device that isn't being purchased from Telus. Make sure you purchase it from a reputable business to make sure you don't end up buying a device that is lost or stolen with no way to get your money back.
