How do I go about upgrading ?

I was looking to upgrade my phone but I have a 200 spending cap on my account & my device balance is 350. How do I go about that ?

To my knowledge you would at least have to clear the device balance before purchasing a new phone. It strikes me that a $350 balance means you phone is fairly recent, and unless there are problems with it, you should see some recovery if you were to sell it to a new purchaser. If so, it might be worth getting it unlocked before you get your new phone.

Hi Tiffani, as NFtoBC mentioned you would need to pay your device balance off before being eligible for a new 2 Year subsidy on a phone. You can do so by calling in, requesting a renewal on a new device, and paying the device balance with a CC.
